Body Painting

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a collective of artists .... The discovery for me of the art of BodyPainting began.

Since the first shooting session, I have been interested in this art. How to make it into a photo, what lighting to use, what atmosphere, what compromise between the work of the bodypainter artist and the work of the photographer .... Each model painted for me was like a new challenge.

At the end of 2019, I chose to be able to collaborate again with Houyam, I met her during my first meeting with thos artists

Houyam has been a makeup artist for more than twenty years, her favorite areas are facepainting and bodypainting. Creative to the tips of the nails, she lets her imagination run wild by transforming the bodies with paint, prostheses and accessories. She has won numerous international awards, including the World Bodypainting Festival in 2013 in the Special Effects bodypainting category.

Collaboration, challenge research, knowledge sharing and curiosity have allowed his work to be what it is today. And so I invited him to spend 3 long days at the studio.

It remained to find the models who would also agree to collaborate. A big thank you to Kryss, Floriane, Jessica, Eros and Eva who agreed to join us and above all to wait for the few hours necessary for makeup before taking pictures
